Sitting on a tree at Cathedral Cove, British Columbia

A few months before we moved to Amsterdam, we took a short trip to beautiful British Columbia. The highlight of the trip, was our drive across Victoria Island. It is something that you should try and experience one day for many reasons, but in particular to visit Cathedral Cove. Cathedral Cove is located in MacMillan Provincial Park where you will find massive, ancient and beautiful Douglas fir trees. This is one of them, that at some point in the past, toppled over and exposed its roots. It's quite something to walk around this majestic forest. You can feel the age of the place, and there is a peace about it that stays with you for years to come.Hope you enjoy the photo!
